The cross tapered roller bearings is composed of two sets of raceways and rollers that form a large angle with alternate rollers facing in opposite directions. Unlike the Crossed Roller Bearing, the Crossed Taper Roller Bearing has tapered rollers as rolling elements. The height of cross section is similar to Single-row Bearing, so it saves space and the bearing housing material. Due to the tapered geometry with a steep angle, the Crossed taper roller bearing can bear a large overturning moment.
