The Double-row Angular Contact Ball Bearing has the similar design to the Single-Row Angular Contact Ball Bearing, but its axial dimension is smaller. A Double-Row Angular Contact Ball Bearing can be considered to a pair of back-to-back Single-Row Bearings. It can bear the axial loads in two directions as well as the moment loads.
The maximum allowable angle between inner and outer rings is limited, which depends on the internal clearance, the structural design, and the force and torque applied onto the bearing. If the inclination angle between inner and outer rings is too large, its rotation precision will be lowered and its noise will be increased, thus resulting in the premature bearing failures.
